What is the AHPRA registration?
The Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), in collaboration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA), regulates the registration of nurses, midwives, and students in Australia.
AHPRA registration for internationally qualified nurses allows nurses trained outside Australia to obtain permission to practice in the country.
To gain registration, internationally trained nurses must meet specific eligibility criteria, including:
